Andrea and step-sister Rachel at Kansas City International:
Andrea is the luckiest girl right now. First her dad’s sister paid her way to Cancun in late June. Then she had her birthday. Now she’s on a cruise that Rodney’s sisters are paying for because they wanted to spend time with her and Rodney’s daughter. Wull, okay!
They departed Ft. Lauderdale tonight and the schedule is as follows: Day 2 at sea, Day 3 George Town, Grand Cayman, Day 4 Cozumel, Mexico, Day 5 at sea, Day 6 arrive back at Ft. Lauderdale.
This morning she called after watching the sun rise over the ocean near their Florida hotel and informed me: “Mommy. I’ve confirmed it. I AM GOING to live by the ocean when I get older.”
She’s been saying that for about a year now but this morning she “confirmed” it. Lucky girl, I won’t be surprised if it happens.
Awesome! She knows there is plenty of ocean here in Southern Ca, right? :)
